Q. How do I find articles about paramedic careers for my CSA class?

The College Success Academy (CSA) guide (see link below) has the best databases to find articles on careers. You must be on campus or have a COM ID to access the databases.

You can always do a search in our online catalog, OneSearch, for "paramedic careers" or paramedic AND careers.  Use the filters under Source Type to narrow down your results to Articles.

You can also use LearningExpress to get information on salary, education requirements and outlook for Emergency Medical Technicians under the Explore Occupations feature.  You will need to register the first time you use LearningExpress, but afterwards you will use your established username/password to get in.
