Are you asking how to write a business case study? If so, I've included some links below that describe how to write a case analysis, and how to analyze a case study. Their usefulness will depend on your assignment instructions.

To conduct research, I've linked to some useful databases from EBSCO. You will have to log in with your last name and 7-digit COM ID if you are off campus.

For EBSCO: Business Source Complete, you can just search for Ashland Oil using the Basic Search bar. If you want case studies only, before you conduct a search, click the Advanced Search link under the search bar. Enter Ashland Oil into the search bar, then scroll down into the "Limit Your Results" box, and look for the Document Type drop down menu on the left and select Case Study from the list. Also select Full Text. Then hit the Search bar at the bottom right.

EBSCO: Enhanced Business Source Interface also allows you to search case studies. Follow the same steps listed above. Additionally, from the database home page, under the search bar, you can select Company Info, Company Profiles, Market Research, etc. and search for Ashland. To conduct a general search, just use the Basic search bar.

You can try your luck with Google Scholar, also linked below. Be aware you won't be able to access all of the results. Many will be behind a pay wall, becuase they are from subscription databases that COM Library doesn't subscribe to. If you search "ashland oil" (including the quotes), it will search that exact phrase. You can search for case studies at the same time by using the search phrase "ashland oil" AND case study. The capitalized and tells the database to search both ashland oil and case study at the same time. You can use the same technique for the databases listed above.l
