For articles on this subject, follow the link below to COM Library's databases guide and select American History, then US History.  From there, Select the 1929-1973 page and click on Articles in the left column.  On this page(see link below) you have many databases to choose from such as Britanica, CREDO, and EBSCO.

In the Britanica box on the top left you can simply select the World War II link and it will take you directly to the article.

In CREDO's box you will find their World War II link at the very bottom of the page.

In the EBSCO box on the left below Britanica select the Search EBSCO for more articles link and it will bring you to their homepage.  Enter World War II into the search box and click search. When the search results page comes up you can narrow down the articles on the left side under the LIMIT TO section.  If you limit the search to FULL TEXT it will only pull up the articles that are available in full(not just an abstract).  You can also limit it to Scholarly(Peer Reviewed) Journals.
