We have a couple of great places to look for articles on psychological experiments. You can do a broad search and then narrow down by using options in the databases. First you''ll need to go to the Social Sciences tab of the Databases page (see link below).

Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection
This EBSCO database focuses on psychology.

  1. Type experiment in the search box.
  2. Under Limit To on the left hand side of the result page, select Full Text
  3. Next, under Source Types click on Academic Journals.
  4. Now click on Subject. By default just 6 options show, but you can click on Show More to see the rest of the subjects available for experiments. You'll see things like memory, psychology, cognition and so on. Choose whichever subject appeals to you and hit Apply.
  5. Now you can review the result list to select articles that meet the criteria set by your instructor.

Social Sciences
This database from ProQuest covers sociology, psychology, communications, political science, linguistics, criminology and education with full text scholarly journals, magazines, trade journals, books, reports, working papers, conference & proceedings, news, images, audio, videos and more.

  2. Next, under Source Type click on  Scholarly Journals on the right hand side of the results list.
  3. Now click on Subject on the right hand side of the results list. By default just 5 options show, but you can click on More options... to see the rest of the topics available for experiments. 4. Now you can review the result list to select articles that meet the criteria set by your instructor.
