Creating a page break in MS Word 2010 is easy!

Make sure you are in the Insert page. Look for the Pages group.

  1. Click where you want to insert a new page. For example, if you want a page at the end of your document, click after the last sentence or word.
  2. Click the Page Break button.

Tip: If you want to create a separate page for a Works Cited page or Reference page, select the Blank Page button instead. That way you won't have to change any breaks if you edit your paper.
