The library does have some useful resources for GED students wanting to practice their math skills.

LearningExpress, one of our databases, has several options.

Users do have to create a free account to use LearningExpress, because it keeps track of the practice tests and courses that you use. After you have set up your account, click on Centers, click on GED or College Center Plus and look for math tutorials.

Films on Demand has some math videos that could help students. I've linked to their Math Collection. It looks like the most useful titles are in the Mathemedia Series.

Khan Academy has great tutorials, and is available to anyone. Their Arithmetic and Pre-Algebra series is good. That's linked below. Users dont' have to login to view the videos, but if they create a free account, Khan tracks their progress.
