Most of our databases provide citations in APA format (among others).

For step-by-step instructions on obtaining them from each of our databases, use the Cite APA Style guide linked below. Select the Grab a Citation page, and you will find instructions on getting them from each database that offers them.

If one of the databases you used isn't listed, you can use a citation generator to help you. The citation generators are also located in the Grab a Citation page.

The other pages provide examples on citing different types of sources, and the Formatting page gives instructions on hanging indents, block quotes, margins, etc. It also links to sample papers.

I've also included a link to Purdue Owl's APA Style guide. Use the table of contents on the left to see examples of citing different types of sources, in-text citations, etc.
