Q. Does the Library have a laptop I can borrow?

There are a finite number of laptops available for semester check out, available on a first come, first served basis.

In order to checkout out a laptop you must:

• Be a currently enrolled student in a degree or certificate program at College of the Mainland.
• Present COM ID at time of checkout.
• Not have any holds, fines or overdue items
• Read and sign Laptop Agreement form

In order for the laptop to work off campus, you will need to plug into the college's Internet, log into your COM account and allow the laptop to "build" your profile. This can take up to 10 minutes. After your profile is complete - unplug and connect wirelessly. If this is successful then you will be able to use the computer wirelessly off campus.
