This is a rather difficult search, because most results do contain surveys of doctor's opinions. However, I did find a few scholarly articles that might be right for you.
Go to the Databases libguide link below and select the Hot Topics tab. Once there, select the CQ Researcher link. I searched the phrase physician assisted suicide and selected the first article, titled "Assisted Suicide."
The article is an overview, however if you look at the table of contents on the left, you will see a Pro/Con link. If you select that, you will find two opinion articles, one on each side of the controversy. The second article in the result list, "Assisted Suicide Controversy" also has a Pro/Con section, as does "Right to Die", which is farther down on the result list.
Also from the Hot Topics tab in the Databases libguide, you will see a link to Opposing Viewpoints. If you select that link and search physician assisted suicide, you will find many Viewpoints articles, which also provide Pro/Con selections. From the result list, select the Viewpoints option. From there, use the limiters on the left to target the articles you want. First, select assisted suicide. From there you can narrow the results down further. If you scroll to the bottom of an article, you can see if a single author is listed.
If you search the Academic Search Complete database from the Hot Topics page, enter the phrase "ASSISTED suicide" AND "ASSISTED suicide" AND opinion you will get many results. Use the limiters on the left for full text, references available, scholarly journal, and publication date. I saw several articles that discuss an individual's opinion on this topic. Scan the abstracts visible in the result list, and be sure to look at the first full page of results.
From the library home page, you will find a link to our book catalog. The link is on the left and says Books (print). Select that and search for physician assisted suicide. You will find print and eBooks on this topic. Many of them either express the opinion of the author, or have sections written by different authors expressing their opinion.
