Q. I love your Google Libguide; it truly deserves the Best of Libguides star!

At Leeds Met we have only had Libguides for a few months now and I was about to create a guide to help my students; I love Libguides and Google! When I saw your wonderful guide someone in the office mentioned you can copy whole guides over...upon further investigation I understand you must get permission from the owner. Would you grant me permission to copy your guide? I am happy to just link to it if you prefer, but students are automatically put off by external sites, they are always looking for identifiable resources!

God morning, Jennifer. We are happy to share if:

You credit us and set the Sharing Restriction and agree to refer any future requests you receive to copy the guide back to us. Credit can be as simple as: "Based on the COM Library guide http://guides.com.edu/ [actual guide URL]" Can be someplace inconspicuous such as on the bottom of the page.

Meanwhile, just so you know, there are outdated elements in the guide that I will be updating. I may finish today or it might take a bit longer--you are welcome to copy now or wait. :)
