When you print a document from one of the computers in the Library Computer Lab it goes into a print queue. In order to get your print, you have to go to the computer next to the Reference desk and release your printed document.

To release your printed document you must know the Lib# (e.g Lib01) that is on the top right corner of the monitor of the computer that you printed your document from, the date, and in some cases the time. Why the date and time? The computers in the lab are used by students as well as community. There may be an instance when a person does not have the money to print their copies and it stays on the print queue until we delete it, which is usually 3 days. Since the number of your computer may show up more than once you need to check to make sure that you are actually printing your document and not someone else's document. Make sure that you are printing your document because once you pay for it there is no way to get your money back.

Okay, so you have selected your document and your next step is to check the cost. Insert the cost to print your document (.05 per copy) into the coin machine which is to the left of this computer station. Select the print button at the bottom of the screen. A verification of the cost and how much money you have put into the machines comes up and you have to select the print button once again and take your documents from the printer.

Please note that if you do not see your print job in the queue click on the refresh button at the bottom. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to appear in the queue. Sometimes you may have to go back and print your document again for it to appear in the printer queue.
