Q. Where can I find some primary sources about the sinking of the Titanic?

You can find primary sources for the sinking of the Titanic in library databases, books and online. The best bets for databases to search for this topic are listed in the A-Z Databases: Primary Sources. • I was able to find primary source documents in JSTOR, including this personal diary of James E. Talmage that includes entries relating to the sinking of the Titanic.  I also found a primary source document in Gale in Context US History - an account of the sinking of the Titanic by a survivor.
• Google Books has the full text of The Loss of the S.S. Titanic : Its Story and Lessons, a book written by a passenger who survived the sinking of the ship.
• Another source is books available in the library. You can use the library catalog OneSearch to look at what the library has on the topic. A Night to Remember in the library, was originally published in 1955 and contains many interviews with survivors.
