Go to our databases guide linked below.. All the databases there will be good for the topic in general.  The databases are in alphabetical order, so click on 'e' to search EBSCO.

I searched parental responsibility, and got good results. In EBSCO, be sure to use the limiters on the left for full text and Subject:Thesaurus term.

To find sources directly about Texas, you can search for Texas laws concerning parental responsibility in juvenile offenses. Go to the below link for Texas Constitution and Statues and select Family Code, then look for parental responsibility in the drop down menu. Section 41 is definitely relevant, and there may be others.

For items specific to Texas, you may want to also search Infotrac Newstand and EBSCO: Newspaper Source. The Government and Law pages are worth searching, too.
