You can find articles on this subject in the COM academic databases.  Follow the link below to the databases guide and select the Controversial Issues from the subject drop down menu.  There will be a list of databases you can enter and search for articles.

Facts on File: Issues & Controversies and Gale: Opposing Viewpoints have overviews and basic information about the topic, which you can find through basic keyword searches such as "childhood obesity" or obesity in children.

In the other databases available, you can start with a search for childhood obesity and then limit the search with the options side of the screen (full-text, subject headings, etc.), or by entering additional search criteria (ex. "childhood obesity" AND prevention).
