Here are a couple of ways to get your information:

Philosophy libguide
Go to the Philosophy libguide and click on the Intro to Philosophy tab. You'll find a link to info on Plato int the CREDO Philosophers box. If you are off campus you will need to log in with your COM ID and last name. There is also an excellent free resource anyone can access, the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

Search in a Reference Database
You can find out who Plato was very quickly from CREDO Reference or Encyclopædia Britannica. Go to the Reference tab in the Databases libguide to access them. If you are off campus you will need to log in with your COM ID and last name. Once in one of the databases, just type in Plato in the search box of either databases to get your information.
