Here are a couple of ways to get your information:

Philosophy guide
Go to the Philosophy guide and click on the Intro to Philosophy page. You'll find a link to info on Plato int the CREDO Philosophers box. If you are off campus you will need to login in with your COM account. There is also an excellent free resource anyone can access, the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

Search in a Reference database
You can find out who Plato was very quickly from CREDO Reference or Encyclopædia Britannica. Go to the Reference page in the databases guide to access them. If you are off campus you will need to login in with your COM account. Once in one of the databases, just type in Plato in the search box of either databases to get your information.
