Go to our Databases by Subject guide, linked below.  The databases are in alphabetical order.  Click on F to find Facts on File, E to find EBSCO, and O for Opposing Viewpoints.

If you follow the link  to Facts on File, I found a couple of articles under the Education topic (laptops in schools & 21st century skills) that might be useful. The research topics are listed at the bottom of the home page. You can click to see them all, with all articles associated with the topic under the heading.

If you follow the link to Opposing Viewpoints, you can search “computers in schools” and get really good results.

In EBSCO, it seems the phrases “computers in education” and “computer assisted instruction” will get you more results. Combine them with the phrase “academic achievement” in a Boolean search using AND.

If you want books, you can go to our catalog, One Search. Do subject searches (you can copy and paste these)  su:Educational technology United States Case studies. Also,  su:Education Effect of technological innovations on United States.
