This is a fairly new author and poem, so there is not a lot of literary criticism about his work in literature databases.

There is a nice analysis/overview of the poem available through Gale Poetry for Students. Here is a direct link: Response to Executive Order 9066: All Americans of Japanese Descent Must Report to Relocation CentersDon't forget, COM students, faculty and staff need to use their COM and last name to log into databases off campus.

This Google eBook also has a brief analysis of the poem.

  1. There is now a study guide on Amazon for my poem "In Response to Executive Order 9066." Enjoy!

  2. Thanks Dwight Okita!

I have now updated my answer to include a direct link to a slightly longer version than the Amazon study guide you recommend. If you are a COM student, use the direct link in the answer above: Response to Executive Order 9066: All Americans of Japanese Descent Must Report to Relocation Centers to get free access.
