If you want basic information about types of alcohol, such as brands or types, a basic google search is the best way to find information.  Britannica is another good source for information.  But if you specifically want to use academic databases, you can still find some basic information about alcohol if you select the right databases.

Follow the link below to our list of EBSCO databases and select EBSCO: MasterFile Premier from the list on the left side of the screen.  This database contains articles from many magazines and less academic material than many other academic databases.  You can do a basic search in the search bar for a specific type of alcohol, but this will retrieve many articles.  To narrow down your search, select the subjects tab on the top left of the screen.  Search for a specific subject heading, such as tequila, in the subject search bar and select it from the list of subject headings.  Then perform a search with that subject heading to find articles that are specifically about that type of alcohol.
