I did not find this topic specifically covered in any of our books, but did find some articles.
Go to our databases guide. Our databases are in alphabetical order, so click on 'e' for EBSCO, 'p' for Proquest, etc.
EBSCO: You can try children left in cars as a search phrase and get some results. Also try children AND hyperthermia. Use the limiters on the left for full text, publication date, subject, and geography (country of publication).
You can also research child abuse laws to get some supporting information.
Infotrac Newsstand had articles when searching unattended children in car.
