You can find information about insomnia through books, eBooks, and articles at COM Library.

To find books and eBooks, follow the link below to WorldCat and search for insomnia.  We have some eBooks specifically about insomnia, and some print books that contain information about treating insomnia.  You could also try searching WorldCat for sleep disorders.

There are many articles to be found about insomnia, though their audience level varies considerably, from short newspaper and magazine articles to detailed articles in academic journals.

If you wish to find articles that are targeted towards a general audience, try searching EBSCO Masterfile Premier or EBSCO Newspaper Source through the Database List link below.  A basic search for insomnia in Masterfile Premier will retrieve thousands of articles, which you can greatly narrow down by clicking on the Subject tab on the left side of the screen and selecting insomnia from the list of subject terms.

If you wish to find more academic information about insomnia, try searching the databases in our Nursing libguide, linked below.  Both EBSCO CINAHL and EBSCO Academic Search Complete contain many articles about insomnia that come from academic journals.  Start with a basic search for insomnia and then limit the search results through the options on the left of the result list, particularly the full-text option, the peer-reviewed option, and the subject terms.
