Yes, you can find articles on this event through the COM Library databases.  To do so, follow the link below to our Texas databases guide. This will present you with a list of databases that you can enter and search for articles. Click on OneSearch and do a search for "texas city" AND 1947.  Make sure you use quotations around texas city and use a capital AND in between terms.  Under Source Type on the left, click on articles.  You will retrieve 13 articles from our databases on the disaster.

COM library also has books on the 1947 disaster.  Do the same search in OneSearch, but select Books under Source Type.  We have both eBooks and physical books on the topic.
