You can find information about the first ladies in both books and articles available online through academic databases or other web sites.

Books: To find books, go to WorldCat, linked below, and search for 'first ladies'.  COM Library has one book about all the nation's first ladies, and several that are each about individual first ladies.

Articles: Go to the Databases by Content Type libguide, linked below, and select the 'Biography' tab.  This will present you with a list of databases that contain biographical information.  Be sure to try both the databases listed in the 'Biography' box and the free public sources in the 'More Biography' box below it; each section has links to several sites that have information on first ladies.
