We have resources on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), but which resources would be best depends on the class or perspective for which you are doing research.
- If you are doing this for English 1301 as a controversial topics, out best resources will the Hot Topics databases. To access the databases go to the Hot Topics page in the databases guide. The best databases for PSTD as a hot topic are Gale: Opposing Viewpoints and EBSCO Academic Search Compete.
- If you are researching from a social sciences perspective, EBSCO Academic Search Compete and EBSCO: Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection are the best databases. To access the databases go to the Social Sciences page in the databases guide.
- If you are researching from a medical perspective try EBSCO All Health, Nursing & Medical databases. To access the databases go to the Health & Nursing page in the databases guide.
For Opposing Viewpoints:
- Go to Opposing Viewpoints.
- Type in post traumatic stress disorder.
- Select the first option, Suggested Topic Pages: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
