Q. Please help me find an article and a book on the history of the Knights Templar.

Go to the databases by A to Z linked below.  Click on the arrow next to Database Subjects, click on History to find the best bets. The databases are in alphabetical order, so click on 'e' to search EBSCO, 'g' to search Gale and 'p' to search Proquest.

I started with Academic Search Complete and searched Knights Templar, and got a few hundred results.

Limit by full text, publication date, and subject terms.

Encyclopedia Brittanica might be good if you need some general background information.
