I just did a quick search on EBSCO using "need for unions" as my search term. Using the filters on the left, I then limited to articles where labor union was a main subject and to full text online. There were still over 600. You can narrow down more by clicking on subject and subject thesaurus term on the left hand side of your result list. I saw several articles that addressed your topic. Click on the Need for Unions link below for my search results. The Find Articles library guide (below) will be helpful.
