You can find articles about different energy sources through the databases in our science databases (link below).

Do a search in any of the ones under the Best Bets! section at the top.  ProQuest Central and Gale OneFile Science would be good ones with which to start.  You can do a search for terms such as "fossil fuel" AND "renewable energy", using the quotations and the capitalized AND.

If you don't need peer reviewed articles, the controversial topics databases would have articles on this topic.  If you go into Issues and Controversies and click on Issues A-Z on the right, you can then click on R and find Renewable Energy as a topic.  Clicking on that will give you an issue overview and arguments for and against using renewable energy.  Opposing Viewpoints and CQ Researcher would also have similar information on the topic that you can look through.
