The best place to go is EBSCO Academic Search Complete.  Here's how you can get started:

  1. Since you don't have a specific topic, you can try experiment results as your search term. If you can think of a topic, type that in along with experiment.
  2. You'll have lots of results and want to narrow down. Since you want results to be from an academic journal an easy way to narrow down is to find Publication Type on the left hand column and click on it.
  3. Click the box next to Academic Journal and then click update. Now you'll have a list of articles on experiments form academic journals.
  4. You'll also want articles that are actually available full text online, so from the same Refine your results options, select Full text and update.
  5. Now you can scroll down the page until you see Subject: Thesaurus Term. Click on it to open a menu. Select Experiments and update.
  6. Now you'll have a manageable list from which to select articles.
