You are right, it is a lot of information. I am sorry that you are finding it overwhelming. Learning how to do college research and about all the resources available to you is a real learning curve. If there is anything specific in the Research Tutorial that you think is too confusing or you’d like more information on, please let us know. We truly want this information to be user friendly for our students and we want to change anything that isn’t.

Just so you know, all face 2 face English 1301 classes come to the library and a librarian goes over this information. You will get a chance to try things hands on and ask questions. Most instructors like to do this after you have completed the tutorial. We are also very happy to talk to individual students one on one at any in time in the library. We love helping students, that’s what we are here for!
