When you have multiple works by the same author, instead of just author's last name and page (Armstrong 138), you'd add the shortest version of the title of the source to distinguish it from the other works.

For example, with the two books below in text citations would be like this (titles should be in italics for books, quotes for articles):

(Armstrong The Arden Shakespeare 120) and (Armstrong The Arden Dictionary 115)

  • Armstrong, Jane. The Arden Shakespeare Miscellany. 1st ed., Arden Shakespeare/Methuen Drama, 2020, https://doi.org/10.5040/9781408166758.
  • Armstrong, Jane. The Arden Dictionary of Shakespeare Quotations. 1st ed., Bloomsbury, 2014.
