The Hoopla site has a couple of possibilities to try: 

  1. Device Issues: My titles will only play for a few minutes.
    CAUSE: A recent Android operating system update caused Android devices to be more aggressive when closing apps operating in the background.
    FIX: If you go into your settings, then into your app settings, locate hoopla, select battery, the first option should be "Allow Background Activity"...
  2. If you are having this playback issue only with this specific title, Hoopla recommends that you report it via the special link or icon at the bottom of each title page on the mobile app or within each content player on the website. 
  3. If the solutions above do not fix your problem, I recommend contacting Hoopla. You can contact them through their Feedback page here: https://www.hoopladigital.com/feedback or email them at feedback@hoopladigital.com.
