Here's how to validate your Hoopla account:

  1. The first time you use Hoopla on Roku, you will be asked to go to https://www.hoopladigital.com/link. 
  2. Log into your Hoopla account with your email and password. If you don't already have a Hoopla account You'll ned to create one through your library. 
  3. You'll be provided with a 4-digit code to enter into your Roku.
  4. After entering the code, the hoopla app/channel on your device should be synced to your existing hoopla account. At this point, you will be able to play currently borrowed Movie and TV titles from the hoopla library. Remaining borrows for the month (determined by your library) will be shown in the app.

  1. My Roku tv says I am linked to my HOOPLA account as I used the provided code but when I try to use the channel it keeps giving me a new code and says it is verifying the link! I'm unable to get past this screen.

I am having the same problem the lady above or on the last page has in that I cannot get past the verifying link I have the link up I’ve linked it in my Roku on my phone, not in Roku in my hoopla account on the phone and it just keeps saying verifying link and I get nowhere if I delete out of this then I just get the hoopla app and I’m never connected

  4. @Nancy, I'm so sorry you're having this problem! Really only Hoopla can help you with the kind of troubleshooting you need at this point, so I will have to refer you to their help as well. They have an email you can use to reach out and they say they do their best to respond within 48 hours Monday-Friday. feedback@hoopladigital.com And they need the following info: Library name, library card number, a description of your issue or request.
