This is a very tricky search.  Most of the articles tend to be medical in nature. When you aren't finding enough articles the best strategy is to use our Powersearch options so you can search many databases simultaneously.  We have three sets of main databases - EBSCO, ProQuest and Gale.

To search all EBSCO databases simultaneously, click EBSCO Powersearch on the A-Z Database guide.

To search all ProQuest databases simultaneously, click Proquest Powersearch on the A-Z Database guide.

To search all Gale databases simultaneously, click the Gale Powersearch on the A-Z Database guide.

The library's Microbiology library guide (link below) also contains links to various science databases that would be good to try. Use "calea ternifolia" AND (aztec OR mexico) AND dream as your search to get the most articles. You can limit to peer reviewed in both databases after you search.
