Q. When formatting an annotated bibliography with a hanging indent, does the second line of the citation become indented along with the annotatjon

The format of the citation depends on the style being used. MLA and APA which are the most poplar do require that hte second and subsequent lines of the citation be indented. The annotation itself would generally not be indented unless your instruction had required it. The image below shows how an entry generally looks.
