If you are looking for another professor's index, try searching for their name in Google Scholar within quotation marks ("John Smith"). If they maintain a Google Scholar profile, that should retrieve it.

There are other databases that maintain these metrics as well. Your university library will have access to these and the librarians there will be able to direct you to the best resources.
