Steps to add/remove cell borders in Excel:

  1. Highlight the cells that you want to add or remove the border to/from
  2. Right click over the highlighted section
  3. Select "Format Cells"
  4. Select the "Border" tab
  5. Click on "None" if you want to remove the border.  If you want to add a border, select the regions where you'd like you add a border.
  6. Click on "OK"

That's it!
