To find articles on CINAHL, it is best to start with Advanced Search. That is the default if you follow any of the links from our website.

I'm inlcuding a link to our How to Use CINAHL guide below, that has more detailed information on searching and obtaining your citation.

Be aware to access CINAHL from our website, you must be a College of the Mainland student. If you are off campus, you will have to log in with your last name and 7-digit COM ID. If you are a student at another school, you will have to access the database from your institution's library website.

Enter your search phrase, then select full text, and anything you need like age group, sex, controlled trial, language, etc.

From your result list, after you run your search, there are limiters on the left you can use to narrow your results, such as publication date range, Subject Heading, etc.

 Communication is a very broad topic, so you will want to get more specific, such as Communication AND patient satisfaction (as an example).
