Follow these steps to add numbers in different cells in Excel:

  1. Click in the cell where you want the sum
  2. Go to "Formulas" on the ribbon menu
  3. Click on the little down arrow below "AutoSum"
  4. Select "Sum"
  5. Select the cells you want to sum by clicking and dragging the cells you want
  6. Press the enter key on the keyboard
