Great News! COM students faculty, and staff can get many articles from Google Scholar for free!

Sometimes Google Scholar points you to resources for which you have to pay to get the full text, but you may be able to get the same articles for free from COM Library databases. If you start your Google Scholar search from this COM Library's guide, results available automatically display to the side of an article with a direct link to the article. If you are off campus when you search you'll need to login with your COM ID.

Clicking on proquest or EBSCO Fulltext will take you right into the article if you are on campus. If you are off campus, you might have to go to EBSCO through databases to be authenticated as a legal user. A login page will come up that asks for your COM account. Search by the title of the article to retrieve it.
