In PowerPoint, choosing a theme allows you to pick a color scheme and presentation design that you like.

The themes in PowerPoint control the color scheme, font, font effects, and ensure elements like tables and figures have a consistent look.

To select a theme:Select the Design tab.

  1. Look for the Theme group in the center.
  2. Scroll down to see the available themes.

  3. Hover your mouse over a theme to see what it will look like.

  4. Click a theme to select.

  5. To see all the themes, select the More option to the right.

  6. Use the Colors, Fonts, and Effects buttons on the right to play with those features.
