Steps to change fonts and font sizes in Word and other Microsoft Office applications:

  1. If you want to change the font of text that you've already written, highlight the text that you want to change.  If you want to change the whole document, press the Ctrl and A buttons on the keyboard at the same time to select everything.
  2. Go to the Home tab on the ribbon menu
  3. Find the font section
  4. The font menu is the drop down box on the left.  Select this menu to find the font you want.  The font size menu is on the right.  Select this menu to select the font size you want.
