The best databases for peer reviewed articles are EBSCO Academic Search Complete and ProQuest Research Library.  You can access them from Tips for Finding Peer Reviewed Articles (see link below).

EBSCO Academic Search Complete

  1. After performing your search go to Refine Your Results on the left, select peer reviewed journals and hit update.

ProQuest Research Library

  1. Perform a search on your topic.
  2. Select the Peer Reviewed option directly under the search box, or in the Narrow results column.
  3. All your results will now be peer reviewed.
