Yes, the current issue of the Galveston Daily News is on reserve at the Circulation Desk. Previous issues for the current month of the Galveston Daily News are kept with the Periodical Collection which is located on the ground level of the library in the lounge area.

Meanwhile, you can access the Galveston County Daily News as well as the Houston Chronicle through our news database, America's News if you are on campus, have a COM ID or library card. Here's how:

  1. From COM Library's home page (link below), choose America's News from the Go Straight to the Good Stuff box and hit Go. It is also available from the News tab on Databases page.
  2. In America's News, look and under Search shortcuts and click on Galveston County Daily News, The to browse or search the full text, which is updated daily.
