There is not a lot of information available about GSA style, but there is a manuscript template available that indicates there are several different levels of headings you can use between paragraphs.  The template is a Word document, available through the link below.

The headings are structured like this:

INTRODUCTION (bold, all caps)

Second Level Heading (bold, title caps)

Third Level Heading (bold, italicized, title caps)

   Fourth level heading (bold, italicized, sentence caps, indented, paragraph follows on same line)

   Fifth level heading (italicized, sentence caps, indented, paragraph follows on same line)
