Q. I need to find scholarly articles on the effects of diet on ADHD for my Lifespan class.

Got to the databases guide, linked below.  Our databases are in alpahbetical order, so click on 'e' for ebsco, 'a' for Academic Search Complete, etc.

Once there, try two databases. EBSCO: Academic Search Complete and EBSCO:  Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection.

Copy and paste this search string into the search bar. It is a subject search for ADHD, and combines that with a search for either the word nutrition or diet.

diet or nutrition AND DE "ATTENTION-deficit hyperactivity disorder" 

Once you have your results, use the limiters on the left to select for full text, publication date, references, scholarly journals. You can also click on the Subject Thesaurus Term options to view all the subjects to further refine your search.
