I would be glad to help!

First, go to the LibGuide's home page ( Go to the left side of the screen, and click on the link to the LibGuide named Databases. This will give you a webpage with many different blue tabs at the top. Click the one titled Hot Topics & News. If you look at the middle of the page, you will see many different links to great Database sites. Although they all will work, I am going to use EBSCO: All Hot Topic Databases for my example in guiding you through the process.

After you clicked on that, type in Citizenship and immigration and click search. This will bring up over 12,000 results. To narrow that down, look to the left and click on the limiters. For example, I limited my results to Full Text, Peer Reviewed, and within the past five years. That narrowed my results list to a little over 500. To narrow this further, scroll further down until you see the subject limiters. Go through an select some of those. Remember, you want to narrow down your list to around 100, give or take a few.

After that, scroll through and find any articles that interest you based on the title and description. You can pretty much do this with any of the databases listed on the Hot Topics & News page. If you have any more questions, just let me know!

Good luck with your search, and I hope this helped!
