Go to the databases by A to Z linked below.  Click on the arrow next to Databases Subjects, click on Select the Business to find the best bets. . For academic articles, search EBSCO: Academic Search Complete.

In EBSCO, the term for LVN is practical nurse. Try practical nurse AND employment. Also try practical nurse AND education. Once you have your results, use the limiter on the left for full text. Since you are looking for career info, you should also choose to have more recent articles by changing the publication date option.

For more articles, try EBSCO: Vocational & Career Collection. These will probably not be academic, but you will find good information. Repeat the search strategy described above.

There are also many good government sites that provide employment outlook information. To access those, go to our databases by Content guide below and select the Statistics page. Definitely try searching the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Texas Workforce: Labor Market Information and Other Data links. In these databases, search for Licensed Vocational Nurse.

For images, you can try a couple of strategies. In the databases by Content guide, select the Images page. We list many COM resources for images.

You can also try searching Google Images. Just be sure that the image is available for re-use.
