Q. Where can I find some scholarly articles about diabetes treatment?

To find articles, follow the link below to our databases guide.  Select Nursing  from the Subject drop down menu to view the best databases to search for this topic.  A good one to start with is CINAHL Ultimate.

In the database, click on Advanced Search and type Diabetes in one search field, and Treatment into the second search fields.  Before hitting search, make sure the Full Text check box and Peer Reviewed check boxes are checked.  This makes sure your results are full text, scholarly articles only.  After you hit search and get your list of articles, you use the other limiters on the left to further narrow down the search (publication date, subject: thesaurus term, etc.).

You can do a similar search in any of the other databases listed under Nursing.  The ones listed under Best Bets are the ones I would recommend you start with.
