I can point you in the direction of a couple of databases which will help you explore the broad topic of human rights, to focus in on a few specific aspects.

Go to the databases guide below.  The databases are in alphabetical order, so click on 'g' for Gale and 'f' for Facts on File.  Two databases, Gale: Opposing Viewpoints & Facts on File both discuss human rights and can help with this.

 

Gale: Opposing Viewpoints has a topic overview, pro and con articles, academic articles and more.

Facts on File has an article on Human Rights, then some updates and sidebars.
