To find articles, follow the link below to our Speech databases.  EBSCO: Academic Search Complete is typically the best place to start searching for academic articles.  In EBSCO, searching for DE "COMMUNICATION in families" will retrieve all articles about family communication.  If you wish, you could narrow the search further by searching for DE "COMMUNICATION in families" AND patter*.  After the initial search, limit to full-text and Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals through the options on the left of the search results.

For Films on Demand, follow the link below and search for family communication.  I only found one video that specifically focuses on family communication.  However, there are other videos about family or communication that may partially discuss the topic.  You can browse them through the Subjects tab at the top.  Try Communication or Family and Consumer Science.
