For books, go to our catalog, WorldCat (linked below) and search su:College student orientation United States. You can copy and paste the phrase: su:College student orientation United States. You will find some good books and eBooks.

For articles, go to Databases LibGuide linked below. Select the Database List tab (2nd tab) and then click on the link to EBSCO: Academic Search Complete. This is a good database choice for most topics.

For this search, you are going to click the Advanced Search link under the search bar on the home page. In the first field, type "college students" AND "academic achievement" (use the quotes).

In the second field, type (or copy and paste): procrastination OR "time management" OR "study skills" OR "decision making".

Typing a phrase in quotes makes the database search the exact phrase. Using the words AND/OR in all caps tells the database not to search for the words and/or.

Use the limiters on the left for full text, publication date, subject, etc.
